9th Annual Innovators Retreat
April 22, 2021- VIRTUAL Gathering
The Innovators Retreat (IR) is our annual convening of Jewish communal provocateurs including educators, philanthropists, influencers and consumers committed to their role as change agents in Jewish day schools.
During this year’s virtual retreat, themed “Unmasking God: Seeking the Divine in a Complex World,” we connected with one another and on big topics—both human and Divine.
At IR21 participants engaged in active discussions and brainstorming on:
The dialectic of God and human intervention
The need for students to develop independent, personal relationships with God
Complex language and ideas surrounding the Divine
The retreat, as always, included time for colleagues and friends to network and catch up.
Our ultimate goal of the annual IR is to explore together ways to help Jewish day schools across North America reignite students’ passion for Jewish learning and improve the student learning experience around Jewish values, literacy, practice, and belief.
